The Leopardi Writing Conference at Udine is now accepting applications for Summer, 2024. Tuition is $1200 (airfare and lodging excluded). Since the conference welcomes writers at all stages of their writing projects, some attendees will find themselves not yet ready for that all-important agent search. Please note that, for this reason, a thirty-minute meeting, “pitch session” with the visiting NYC agent is not included in tuition. Upon acceptance to the conference, attendees will be queried about their interest in meeting with the agent; the fee for this additional aspect is $100.00.

Maximum length (for all genres): 20 pages (12 pt. font, double-spaced)
If submitting a novel excerpt, please include a one-page plot summary as the last page of your manuscript.
There is no need to include a cover letter; however, if there is any information that you would like to include in a cover letter, please include it in the email to which you attach your manuscript.
Shortly after submitting your manuscript via email, you will receive notification of your application status from leopardiwc@gmail.com.
